Hi all,

My wife had been watching the Korean dramas and got excited about the polariod cameras that were used. Thus I would like to buy one for her…

The print should not be the smallest one, auto-focus and just point and shoot type. No manual settings required, but flash is a must.

I appreciate all feedbacks and will also be checking the fuji website as well.

Thanks in advance.

i guess you should be referring to the fuji cameras rather than the polaroid ones. For fuji, there are only 2 sizes of film to choose from, Instax mini (credit card size) or Instax Wide (double credit card size).

Thanks Muckafutha.

Just called thirtysix and ordered the fuji mini 7s (white). Also realized that polariod is a brand. Correct term to use is instant cameras.

7s is the smallest print isnt it?? credit card size from wad i rmb?? if u dun wan smallest print maybe u shld get the one which uses instax wide?:dunno:

Ya. Polariod pretty much went out of business... but I think their glasses/sunglasses division is still operating... I have 2 pieces of their sunglasses... :bsmilie: They are good too... polarized... I think is linear though, not CPL. Kind of sad, for the company that invented polarizers.

Yes 7s uses the credit card size films...

Yup that's the smallest size...

Yes, I thought there is a size smaller than the credit card size...

hi peeps... took a few shots using polariod camera n somehow... tempted to buy..
but from wat i found out... the price for the film isn't cheap.. it cost like $10+++ for 10 photos...
but wondering... does the price differ much since there's 2 different sizes as per mentioned above.. the "credit card" and the "instax wide" size..
can't really find the price guide after the search... (as in.. i found a few... but it didn't state whether is it instax wide or credit card size....)

currently looking to buy the Fuji Instax Mini 7s.. but the photo is credit card size which i'm fine with...
but if the price of the film for "instax wide" is the same as this "credit card" size.. then probably i'll get the camera for "instax wide" film..

kindly advise..
thanks!:)

Buy online, there are ppl selling @ $10 per box if you buy 4 or 5. Those are the plain ones. For the cartoon frames 1, get ppl coming back from hk or taiwan to buy. its more ex than the plain 1 but sg sell damn ex. $14++
1 idea for the plain 1, get some colour markers n deco it the way u want it, and you can stick it to the mirror or something ;)

but thz for the intro... probably will get the makers which u mentioned if i cfm gettin this camera...
btw.. what's the different between Instax Mini 7s and Instax Mini 7? (without the 's')
did a search online but didn't find any info..

can some1 advise?
thanks..:)

Hmm i ment buy from sellers online. They 'import' for u in a sense. They buy in bulk and they can get it cheaper. Without paying for rent, the lower cost is pass on down to us too! Cash on delivery thus no risk at all =)

From what I understood, the mini 7s is the later model.

The picture size is doable, yet not big enough to see the details or flaws.

Thus making it fun to shoot but everytime you press the shutter, that's a dollar!!!

Contraditing right? Fun camera but can't be trigger happy.....:dunno:
