Good day,

It's been one week since our third installment of F1. For those who had the Premier Walkabout tickets, would appreciate if you could assists in the following photo-tips while the memory is still fresh:

(a) any chance of taking the starting grid on flag off?

(b) closest turn whereby one can be very close to the fence?

(c) best place for panning (whereby one is close enough to the fence with the car at the other end of the track)?

(d) any chance to head straight to the pit area or shoot the podium before, during or after the race when the track is opened?

Thank you. Appreciate.

(a) The closest that you can shoot the starting grid would be either before Turn 1 or at Turn 3.

(b) That would be turns 22/23. 2 metres

(c) Most places can pan, just depends on what you want.

(d) Yes, but there is only 1 exit into the track, its a tight human jam. I reached the podium only when the music stopped playing.

Thanks, ed9119 and lioneldude.

It's good to know that one can get "near" the Paddock Club after the race ed9119.

It's true that panning can be achieved at a lot of locations, lioneldude, but with my 300mm f4, I'm trying to find a sweet spot whereby I can be as close to the fence while the cars are on the other side of the road. I will take not of T22 & T23.
