Brave Singaporean war photographers killed in action

Thanks for sharing

I really appreciate this part of history that would otherwise be lost

Stories of 3 Singaporean war photographers killed in action during the Vietnam war.
Read about them via:

Bless their souls. :(

First salute to the photographers.

Secondly, maybe I get scolding from fellow CSers. But how to qualify for a war photographer. For my knowledge, I always has been interested to know how they can get there in the first place... I tried to google but not much clarification, thought some CSers would know here.

Step no.1 - do a search here, there's was a thread on "how to be a war photographer"

Step no.2 - impossible that google has nothing you are looking for, but if you are looking into the local context, you have to get into the local papers to have a slim chance of being sent overseas to cover big news. Otherwise, chances of being a warzone photog is much higher aboard. :sweatsm:

Hi there,

Yea, I was referring to being a war photographer for local. Thanks!

Their stories can also be found in Ho Chih Minh's army war museum. Many great tales of vietnam war in there, weapons and relics.
