1. in what area is critique to be sought?
Composition, colour, post processing, and any other feedback would be great

2. what one hopes to achieve with the piece of work?
Capture the aged and weathered face of my grandma. Want to show/emphasis how old she is now.

3. under what circumstance is the picture taken? (physical conditions/emotions)
Under shade/indoor.
Exposure stats:
1/50 sec, F5.6, ISO200, 55mm
I noticed how old my grandma is getting and wants to capture that.

4. what the critique seeker personally thinks of the picture
I'm not sure, feels it's lacking something. And not sure if I could have been able to emphasis the wrinkles further.

erm....anyone? anything?

why not full face instead? unless you are referring to the eyes only..

did u take her photo without permission?

she seems to be pointing her fingers at you.

I was indeed going mostly at the eyes, yet I want to show as much as the wrinkles as I can too. Would it have been better full face? Thanks for commenting.

She was indeed pointing at the camera and asking me what's that. She's...confused sometimes. There were other shots from this angle which doesn't have the little finger peeking out but i kinda like the little bit of finger in the frame. What do you think?

it is distracting.

Black and white it. :)

The framing doesn't work for me. It is neither here nor there.

Either go tighter focusing on the eyes, or go wider and show more of the face. The small part of the finger that is OOF is extremely distracting. Either show more or crop it away.
