after 6 months of waiting, sony announced that the september upgrade is delayed until 4th quarter.

Pity, for some phones are already running 2.2, sonyericsson is still stuck to 1.6...

Heheh. That, I don't agree. Phone div is diff with cameras. But u might agree, the faster they come up with. New camera, the slower their PROMISED upgrade. Mind you x10 is not the smoothest end product you can see on planet. A lot of major quirks hs been reported and so far, only one firmware upgrade has been made.

That one, I didn't knew. but the fact is hardware wise It's at par with others, the software is lousy, given chance for almost a year when it first released.

duh, its mean to be a joke. and yes x10 real world performance ain't on par with the high end hardware and $. as their highest end android, firmware upgrade is way too slow, most other manufacturer is using 2.1 at the minimun now which is already consider slow.
