Hi,

I just got my Big stopper today! Will like to ask the users of this filter if the filter produces a much cooler image compared to one taken without the filter? I took my test shots with AWB.

I was playing with slider for color temp in adobe camera raw and I find that I have to adjust quite abit to get similar output.

Where can I get the big stopper?

Big Stopper can be purchased from Cathay. Damage is $188, but stock is very limited (went to those on the waiting list) - best to put yourself on the list now... or call if they have leftovers (peeps who backed out)...

BIG YES for B+W ND110 ( 10 Stops )
has been out of stock for very long time ... got mine from the States ...
paid almost $210 ... Damn ...is good ... taken various pictures wif that ...

Picture produced are something that a naked eyes cant see and UN-imaginable

Got myself a piece, but had no holder. Now in waiting list for one. Went to TKFoto and they also ran out of rings and holders from Hitech... :(

Just bought my B+W ND110 from TK Photo at $160 yesterday. No chance to test yet due to bad weather.

Have you tried Cathay for the UWA ring and holder? - Lee of course. Personally, I feel that the Lee holder is better built. Seen and felt the Hitech version, not bad quality, but for the same price - I'd rather go for Lee.

Yeah, the nikon 12-24mm is fantastic. Hardly see flares and ghostings compared to the 18-105mm kit lens. It's very sharp and colour saturation is better as well. Love it!

I am comparing between TOKINA 12-24mm Constant f4 to Nikon 12-24mm

Half the price made in japan :(

Yeah I did the same comparison too. But many reviews said that it has serious flare and CA problems and nikon 12-24mm has none of these problems. That's why Tokina released 2nd version(with the 'II' mark behind the name and a red ring on the lens to distinguish) to counter these issues. This 2nd version is selling at $939 at CP. However, not many reviews on this 2nd version. U can get the nikon 12-24mm from 2nd hand market around $1000 though.

You bet I did, but the Lee filter holder ALWAYS out of stock EVERYWHERE. Even Teamworkphoto ran out of it again within a few hours, nothing much I can do at all. Gonna get the Hitech one which is cheaper overseas.
