Prices for new lenses out!!


I wanna buy the 24-120 but still cannot get rid of my Sigma 24-70 HSM yet... Sigh.
 

I called TK & MS this afternoon, the limited units of 24-120 f/4 VRII have been reserved. New stock will only come in later.

Is it confirmed that this lens in made in Thailand? :eek:
 

Yes ! Got my this evening @ $16** confirm my in thailand. The lens are quite big but its very sharp :bigeyes: Still palying with it now :bsmilie:

Iphoto is the previous Lords camera in Lucky plaza, i m kelvin regulars, he only has two pieces, one reserve for me, i dont know how much he is selling to others. but his other colleague may hv a few more. As usual cash is always cheaper, visa master add another S$20. The 85 1.4 is slower compared to the 50 1.4 in focusing, probably bcos its larger and heavier. Have not done any proper shooting with the 85mm hopefully soon.

Oh my... the 85 1.4 is slow... is it slower than the AFS 50 1.4 or the AFD version?

Looks like sticking to the AFD would make focusing faster...

I got it yesterday. Quite a few around when I got beeped by the dealers.

1) Lens is very light when juxtaposed against the 85mm f/1.4 G (about the same size)
2) Rear lens cap has a different design

No much vignetting. Lens are super sharp but one thing I don't like the lens front to heavy so the lens will "Creep" like the 18-200mmDX lens. Haiz....　:confused:

Tats why I always take mine time to choose and purchase mine gears, reading the reviews and doing the homework.;)
