should one go for a day rate only? or per person? or day rate + images rate? i am lost. can't imagine only quoting a day rate and they work me to my bones. hahaha.

can anyone advise what is the industry practice and your personal practice? i'm asked to give a day rate by a client.

Give them alternative.

When you quote, make sure you can be specific on what is given and what is extra.

Normally, will day rate, it will be just my time only and if they need something else, it will be build on top of that. But you will need to let them know.

Hope it helps.

usually after brief exchange of mails.
will give them a quotation that include:

time&date of services /receivables

xxx hrs with xx images
standard editing

addition image at $xx
addition hour at $xxx
etc
