Looks like the Nikon prime dream team is almost complete :)

nikon-35mm-f1.4.jpg

24 1.4, 35 1.4(tomorrow released), 50 1.4, 85 1.4, 200 f/2(tomorrow released)
the only ones missing are 135 f/2 and the 105 f/2... with these 2 old portrait lens updated.. nikon is back in full force again!

24mm, 35mm and 85mm have nano coating, only 50mm does not have. So 35mm will be > 2K?

should be 2k+ ...
50mm is a bit of a disappointment (slow af).. unless they are bringing up an af-s 50 1.2 Nano in the future. Then we have full nano prime line up against the Canon Ls

btw... does the filter thread look 72mm or 62mm to you guys?

The older AI-S was 52mm IIRC..

Great stuff!

If one got a 50mm f/1.4g. Is it worth to get the 35mm f/1.4g Nano, which has nano coating, 15mm wider, but >1.2k more.

Love 1.4 glass :) can't wait for a 600 1.4 !!!! :bsmilie: :bsmilie:

600 f1.4? If nikon really makes this lens, I am sure it will be around 10k or more.:bigeyes:

different look and feel to the picture..
if u really need the 1.4 and the special look.. i would say it's still worth it.
Just like 24 1.4 .. cost 2.8k ish SGD but still worth it to me :) cos of the special rendition of the images.
