Hi guys,

I'm new to ClubSNAP and photography. I'm asking around if any forum members know of any interesting or helpful book that can help me improve on my photography skills?

Pls advice!

Thanks! :)

You may try these books or authors to see which one is suitable for your. You may try borrowing from the library too.

-- Chris Weston
-- John Freeman
-- Michael Freeman
-- National Geographic's Field Guide or Ultimate Field Guide

You can do a search using the search function, there have been quite a few threads on this. I would recommend that you start with a library near you, there are a lot of helpful books and you can look through them before borrowing.

Thanks Squid and Spree for ur constructive ideas!

Scott Kelby's books are pretty good too. So are Bryan Peterson's

Was about to recommend peterson too. TS, you can get peterson books from nlb. Two of the copies are on loan to me at the moment :p

There's a book store at the ground floor at Funan Center. Lot's of photography books.

Go to borders and find the corner that has all the photography books, there are chairs there for you to spend your afternoon ..
