Posting on behalf of Noise Singapore:
Here’s your chance to showcase your artistic talents to the world. Submissions for the Open Categories in Art & Design, Photography and Music are now open.
NOISE Singapore is an initiative driven by the National Arts Council (NAC) to promote youth participation in the arts and unleashing the creative juices of Singapore youths.
If you have always wanted to express yourself creatively but have been put off by the red tape of art competitions, NOISE is the outlet for you. There are no confusing guidelines on works submission for NOISE. It is simple. You submit, we accept.*
Besides relaxed rules on submissions, NOISE also provides networking opportunities for you to meet like-minded comrades who share your creative passions. You also stand to earn recognition from Singapore’s leading professional in the creative industries. Unconvinced? Read on.
There are exhibition opportunities for your works to be displayed in the Noise Singapore Festival Showcase and features on the Noise publication and website. Winners of the respective categories stand to win a $5000 grant to pursue their artistic aspirations.
Participants aged 18 and under also have the chance to showcase their works in the International High School Arts Festival in Tokyo, Japan.* One selected winner will even get to travel to Tokyo for the festival opening!
Registration is simple. Visit http://www.noisesingapore.com/page/submissions/ and create a personal profile. Upload your works into the respective categories. Presto, you are done!
Application deadline: 31 Oct 2010
