Hey Guys, I just brought my Nikon D90 recently, and i read thru wikipedia "Shutter speed", and i found out that Nikon D90 shutter speed is not the same as stated at wikipedia
How can I convert them?
as what i read at wikipedia, the shutter speed are, 1s, 1/2s, 1/4s, 1/8s, till 1/1000s.
For my nikon, I got 1.5, 2, 4, 6 and up till 4000
So how i convert them?
but what does 1.5 means? and 2,3,4,6 should be 1/2, 1/3, 1/4, 1/6?
Im using ISO200.
Im using M mode,
I was thinking on that line too as what pcmj saidI second what pchmj said. D90 has either 1/2 steps or 1/3 steps depending on your options. If it is 1.5" that means 1.5 seconds, if it is 1.5 that means 1/1.5 seconds.
madmartian | he's not talking about adjusting exposure. Just what the numbers 1.5, 2, 4 etc. means in terms of shutter speed
cnt stress enuf the importance of reading thru manuals for 1st time DSLR users:sweat:
