This is a posting on behalf on my good friend. He is trying to sell off his Olympus OM4 with quite a number of quality Zuiko lenses (mainly prime and macro lenses) and accessories like Zuiko telescopic auto extension tube (bellows) to change over to DSLR. What is the good way to sell off the system besides posting in classifieds? Are there any places locally that offer trade-ins?

Thank you for advice.

Post them here at CS BnS, and tell him to include the following:

1. Be specific about selling price and don't say, "you offer".
2. Camera and Lens condition to be accompanied with clear photos.
3. For OM lenses, photos of the front element to show the datas clearly about the lenses are important because certain information there will tell you about the lens version, age and whether they are multi-coated or not.

There are still a lot of interest on film OM SLR and lenses because these lenses are small, light, durable and give very nice color and IQ when adapted to almost any DSLR.

post in CS would be a better idea... alot of people come here for B&S
just make sure to have pictures and condition to back up.
btw, Anthony raises a good point especially on the price. I hate those who put 'You Offer'. I rather them be more direct and state what their asking price and we go from there. Makes life so much easier for everyone, really.
