I took Air Asia from Sin to KL, KL to Tawau...$300+ Cheaper alternative will b Sin to Kota Kinabalu, KK to Tawau, may be below $300. I joined a packaged tour via internet abt 2 mths ago. The agency specialises in Semporna photography trip, and the boss cum tour guide is a photographer who is very experienced. He gave tips and sharing session during the tour too. He was also very gd in coaxing the kids to cooperate with us to pose for us. (He prepared lots of sweets and titbits, so we need not worry abt running short of that) Without his "staging" we would not have taken so many nice photos The land tour cost abt $550 (excludes dinner).
