Depends on who your target participants are. If Secondary school students then a bit too much perhaps. Adults different story. Factor in your costs and see the profit margin worth it or not. But i think $50-60 is fair for a 2hr walk + Critique session. Still, you must make it different from all the free outings organised here at Clubsnap and compare to other companies like Knowledge Bowl which also conducts such kinds of outings as part of a package foundation photography course? Perhaps smaller group size for more personalised attention and a structured critique session would be good. The outings here fill up very fast so there is a market for it i suppose.

Tung, your standards should command a higher fee (in my opinion, even a $100 is a very small fee to pay) but the choice is ultimately yours. Learning from you would require a lot of observation (on the part of those who follow you). As I know you, yours is more about being creative and seeing things from an artist perspective. I doubt you will be imparting much technical skill sets.

Like what many have said, it all depends on your objective.

All the best!

Daniel

Dell good color LCD is 300+ sgd in contrast...

woohoo... i am sure the participants will benefit from yur workshops.. all the best..

Totally support your endevour Tung and I am confident that both participants and yourself will benefit from your mentorship and tutelage

Just a gentle reminder..... THERE IS NOTHING WRONG with making a living.......if you want to advertise your course here in Clubsnap, please remember to sign up as a workshop organizer    ....... this allows you to advertise your paid sessions here in Clubsnap.... its not expensive to sign up as a Workshop , Shoot Organizer or Mass Seller

Read here for the cost involved .... its very cheap IMHO Cost of Signing Up as Workshop Organizer

Forum needs to fund cost of running servers and other costs associated in keeping the community running.

Best of Luck !! And call me if u need advise...

It actually depends on the number of students per class, more your charge less per head and vice versa.
