i have set my mind to upgrade just to a prosumer camera level after some consultation with the brothers here.

lost my samsung st550 dual screen lcd camera and my friend lended me a dslr nikon d60 to try out. it definitely doesn't suits me as it's too bulky to carry with me for pns purpose and i have no interest in spending money for the lenses.

some of the photos that i took with my st550

sorry i didnt put up the photos on the forum because the image appears to be very huge here.

How would we know which suits you? We're not you. since *you* are the one who will be using the camera and *you* are the one spending money, *you* should be the one who goes to the shops and finds the right camera for your needs.

For posting a non-photography MO in Kopitiam

If TS is still reading this thread, albiet not logged in or with another account, i recommend a "bridge camera" which is in-between the two category and is less bulky than the D60.

Check out Panasonic Lumix G2; micro 4/3 system canera

I thought kopitiam is a place to post non-photography related topics. But MO is still not allowed?

MO buyers have to be registered in the forum(i.e contact details given to admin) and also no posting of MOs in kopitiam.

hey guys im back!

some misunderstanding, it's a MO interest check and im still new unaware of the rules and regulation

Welcome back.

About the camera, please go to a camera store to try out some cameras and select one you like. Everyone has different preferences and with the number of prosumers and compact cameras out there, it is very hard to recommend.

Also recommend you get a small tripod for your night shots.

Bridge camera = Prosumer camera, as such the TS knows what the category is.
