New Pentax Cameras Will Be Announced in Sept: K-5, K-r and EVIL -- RUMORS!

Yeah, yeah, I know it's just rumors which have been spreading around for a while, but I'm pretty sure we'd see these cameras very soon:

K-5: upgrade of K-7, fixed K-7's problems and more.
K-r: upgrade of K-x (K-m --> K-x --> K-r?), probably can take both lithium battery and standard AAs.
EVIL: one of the kind, definitely interesting and different from all the other EVILs
P&S DCs: a few new models which look even fancier than I-10 and H90

Would be most interested in the EVIL... how different.. :think:
Hopefully can use all pentax current lens with ease is the best. :heart:
A Good VF and LV ( Hope can focus faster, which they improve on the K-7, think they should have improved even more.)

Think i am thinking and asking too much, with all this, this would be more expensive then K-r? lolx.

Realistically, it would take at least another year before you can get k-7 at $800. Supposing the launch price of the k-5 is around what the k-7 was, it would cost around $1.7k and I believe early-adopters will not be tat many. Only when k-5 falls to some $1.2k then one may find a $800 k-7.

BTW, Samsung looks like has a new sensor. Looks like Sony type with on board A/D converter with twice as much channels as compared with k-7. (4 against 8 output digital parallel channels on the new one)
