Filter Question (sorry again)

Sorry, it's yet another filter question. I went to buy some GND filter today and was thinking which Filter Holder + Adapter to get.

1) I am using D90 and kit lens (67mm thread)
2) I am planning to get ND110 filter (77mm thread), as will buy UWA in future for landscape.
3) I need a step-up ring from 67-77mm, in order to use both ND110 (screw-in) and GND (slot-in) with my current kit lens before I buy a UWA.
4) However, shop owner said there is no direct 67-77mm step-up ring. I'd have to get 67-72 and then 72-77. Which he said would cause serious vignetting.

Now my question is, is it true there is no step-up ring directly from 67 to 77mm? And if there isn't, would it really cause vignetting stacking 2 step-up ring? Since it's step-up, I dont really see how it can cause vignetting.

Yes there is. I have two pieces too. I think the store owner just meant that he doesn't carry any.

Which store is this? Why not try OP or TK? I bought one of mine from OP.

I got mine from TK. 67 to 77 direct and one piece. Got other even smaller sizes go direct to 77 also. Using it for the 18-105mm... you using that too?

Anyway, another question since I'm asking. Does TK sell Cokin P Filter Holder and Adapters as well? Might as well get everything from them.

you mentioned you intend to get a UWA.

My recommendation, skip the cokin P series. Go for 100mm filter holder. Take your pick from the different brands: Cokin Z-pro, Hitech 100mm, Lee foundation kit.

For filters, to get peace of mind with minimal color casts, go for Hitech.
