"RF - An Introduction" @ Singapore Arts Museum (Glass Hall) on Friday, 6th August 2010, 6.30pm-9pm

Ever wanted to find out more about rangefinders (RF)?

Well, the CS RF user group (RF.SG) has put together a 2.5 hour event which will feature speakers from our very own CS community, sharing their passion, their experiences and their journey into world of RF. There will also be a photographic showcase of photos taken by our own homegrown RF talents.

For those who have always wanted to know more about RF and get their hands onto one to try, come-on down and our RF ambassadors will be on-site to engage in friendly Q&A, as well as bringing their personal RFs for you to try.

All are welcomed to attend.

Hi all interested,

you do not need to register. But chairs are limited if you want to sit. Else there are plenty of standing space.

This historic RF event will start at 6:30 sharp. I hope all can be there early to support our hardworking speakers. There will be wine catered by our chairman. So please be there to mingle around, check out cameras porn or view the slide show while sipping fine wine. This is what rangefinder is all about isn't it?

Oh yes, our very first collectible RF book will be open to orders that night. Price to be confirm. Rest assure we are trying our very best to press down the price for all of you. Single run only. After this will be no more! So don't wait! I'll leave it to the book IC to brief further in the following days...

Thanks
RF Committee.

So any advice when should I arrive so that I can try out some cameras?
On a less serious note, any beers instead?

Hi, you can come earlier, I will be there with a few others. Just approach anyone with a Rangefinder camera if you like what is around their neck ;)

Sorry RF users only drink wine.
Just kidding, I reckon it will be too much logistic and spillage for beer that night. But' we'll see what we can do. Who knows?

I think the launch of the first RFSG book is something we should look forward to more than anything else! Please prepare to place an order. Once you see it, you simply cannot resist.

Is the book a collation of pictures by you guys or like a self teach book?

I would say It is a collective works from Clubsnap Rangerfinder photographers.

As you can see from this post here:

http://www.clubsnap.com/forums/showthread.php?t=726308

The book has also a brief writeup of the history of Rangerfinder cameras.

Yes yes, very big fan!

I'm afraid it would be wine this time but should you need beer/ale, I believe there is a cafe on the left hand side of the courtyard to satisfy that need, I will be starting early there ;)

It would be great for some video footage to be recorded for this event for those who are unable to attend. Especially the experience sharing by the various speakers.
