Funan is big, there are more than one shop. What if we tell you that the filter is only $50? Wanna try shouting at the sales guys? Or continue crying here over spilled milk? We have price guides and Mass Sales threads for a purpose, which is: Help yourself :)
And whether it's worth to get CPL is entirely up to you and your requirements.

If this is a normal MC CPL then i would say;

Go scream at the sales person today after work! Ask him what's so good about this filter??

Actually asking whether or not its worth it only after you bought it isn't going to help you in any way. Instead, since you've already bought it, just use it to its fullest. But if it makes you feel any better, if what you had bought is Kenko CPL Pro1D version, it's around that price range. Some shops sell higher, some sell lower.

A little advise would be to check price guide and ask different shops before you buy anything in future if unsure.

Haha, i second to this . . . after you buy then you ask . . . for what lor?
after buying normally i don't wish to ask, will end up regretting buying from that particular shop.

Now i check here before i buy . . . i have learnt my lesson. :)

Would be interested to know which shop it was...

Haha.I'm refering to what Octarine said "Wanna try shouting at the sales guys"

usually when I really need something, I will do a research before I BBB. So shouting at sales staff does not apply to me.

Not a sale guy..
The uncle look like a shop owner to me...

So is it worth it??

Well..In this case..He just lost a potential high net worth customer..over a tens of dollar.. :)

77mm cost only $100 and 67mm cost $95? What do u think?

Actually, it is ok la. for a Kenko Pro1D wideband CPL.

$100 for 77mm and $90 for 72mm but only at OP. OP parallel imports the Kenko filters from China (where it was imported from Japan also), that is why you see china wordings on the anti-counterfeit stickers on the filter box. It is significantly cheaper in China.

TK's version seems to be a direct import from Japan. They probably took it from the sole agent of Kenko here in Singapore (Cathay Photo, I think)

Same thing la. But pricing is considered ok.

FYI, TS, I buy all my Kenko filters from OP in Singapore or in China when I am there. Cheaper. Not everyone sell things at the same prices because different store imports things at different prices, and have different cost structures. You cannot say they rip you off. If they sell it to you for $120, then it is a rip off. As a consumer, you just have to know which store pricing are better for which items.

Example: TK Foto's pricing on Sirui tripods are amazingly low. Same price if you get it direct in China. With the popularity of the Sirui tripods now, They could have charged a premium for it, but they did not. Sirui is considered one of the top Chinese brands in tripods. And yet, TK sells them for less than many other brands of Chinese made tripods here in SG. They are not a rip off joint la.
