So? There are still millions not buying it.

So I believe when launch in Singapore, within 2 years, in train, you will see lots of people using iPad.

Just like the iPhone phenomenon now, where every you go, you will see iPhone.

Only thing holding me back is the printing part... how'd you print?

Also, no ability to use thumbdrives and the like? i.e. through the camera connection kit

The only way to print and share files right now is through iTunes, as far as I know but HP and Canon both have iPhone/iPod touch utilities to allow you to print files to their printers and there are a number of other utilities that require a piece of software on the computer to receive the file you want to print.

iPhone OS 4 will probably change this and allow you to print using shared printers, as Steve Jobs has hinted.

Hi, What is needed by most of local users is a portable mobile device to surf internet anywhere, using USB modem and external HD at a cheap telco cost to down load from internet so that we can surf internet only at weekend outside with a prepaid sim card.

Syhould have gotton a iPad

My friend brought one from the state.

I love it but I am not going to buy it.

Too expensive!

My fren got one from the states and is having fun with its apps. Good to have but not essential.
Btw, it was announced that 3 million units have been sold 80 days since its launched.

definitely gonna buy, it's as if Apple answered my wish! I've been using the iPod touch since it first came out for surfing and doing various stuff, then I wish it had a bigger screen and longer battery life, no more, no less (and I definitely don't want a tablet computer like the Slate). Voila, Apple introduced the iPad

They've already shown LCD displays that you can roll out onto a flat surface to use and some were keyboards so it might not take until 2018.

Can Car Charger for iPhone use to Charge iPad?

Same voltage and current?

:embrass:

Last check on 3G 64GB model cost $1550 @SLSQ. Any cheaper?

HP is coming out with a slate pc later this year.
Runs win7 and seems to have usb. No need to settle for the fruit machine anymore.

Hp withdrew the win7 concept and is now putting some web os on it's slate. Seems like tacit agreement on their part apple made the right choice not to put full os on their iPad.
