Have been lurking around but only made an account just now.

I will be going to S korea in a few weeks time. Will be visiting places full of nature(mountains etc) and also seoul. Planning to capture lots of picture to make a little travel blog and take pictures all the way.

Which camera should I get? I am a total newbie. I hv been using my iphone camera all along :bsmilie:,

I have a budget of <sgd300 The lower the better.

What do you guys think of the Fuji JX200? Its being sold at 199.

Many many thanks@

1. Go to the shops and shortlist all the cameras that meet your budget (I'd prefer a Sony or Canon for PnS).
2. Go to www.google.com and read the reviews.
3. Make a choice.

"every buttie"? Please try speaking english instead of relegating us to posteriors.

Sorry guys!

I have read a lot about F200 vs F72/70

Have decided to get f70/72 because of the 10x zoom.

How is the pic quality of the f70 when compared with the f200? People say the f200 is better because of the sensor but is it really a lot better? or just a slightly little better?

Can any bros shed some light to me on the price of f70/72 in the market now?

A million thanks.

Can google for reviews yourself? Can call up the shops yourself?

F200 is no longer in production, similarly to F72 but F200 is low in stock in many shops as my friend tried to look for it too. If there is one available the price might be above 300 for brand new due to demand vs supply. I asked around in Funan shops but only Harvey Norman has a set but it was priced over 300. Forgot the price but around $320++?

F72 was sold below 300 during PCshow with freebies including spare batt, extra sd card etc by Gain City. So there is chance to grab a new one below 300 brand new.

F200 below 300 you can try 2nd hand, a number of sets available in BnS.

Reviews....U can get ur answers easily on the www right?

okok.. today i feel quite good.. let me help u.. Here

And we are not salesman here.. Think it will be much effective/faster for u to pick up the phone and call the shops and ask, rather than wait for an answer in here

:)

This is actually my 4th week in Korea, and to me 3x zoom is enough :) (But thats just for me)

I'm using 24-70mm F2.8 though.
