Any outing or gathering on this date?

You are really going too far with this. As a potential participant, you are to look out for sessions and enrol into the ones which fits your schedule and interests, not throwing out a date for organisers to respond to. We don't owe you anything so if you are too lazy to even search for the information, perhaps you should organise your own sessions.

i-poh, if you look at the forums main page, you can see a sub-forum called "Gatherings and Outings". Check in there for a list of outings organized.
If there isn't any for the time and date you want, you can always organize one yourself.
Just state your purpose (e.g. get-to-know-each-other-session) and what you intend to do (e.g. just sit around and chit chat, or go shoot then have dinner after etc.) and you'll likely get respondents.
Do remember to check the stickies for posting rules before posting though.

FYI,this thread WAS at the Gatherings & Outings forum this morning when i logged in to CS ard 6am+...

Apologies, my bad then. Usually when mods move a thread, the old "shadow" will still remain in the original sub-forum, hence I didn't know this was a moved thread. Cheers.

I've noticed that in the past as well. Some threads/sections are left with a 'ghost' as you put it, and some do not seem to have that.
I also notice that the systems are constantly being fine-tuned after the new servers were put in place but these complex IT matters are beyond me.
