Hi guys, I am currently using Creative Inspire T6060 5.1 speakers setup for my PC. Thinking of changing to a 2.1 system because the 5.1 setup very messy and clutter up my desk. So want less speakers so that it is neater.

My maximum budget is $150, sound quality must be at least on par with my current speakers. One bro recommend me Sonic Gear Armageddon Ultra A7 which is $150 at Challenger. Are there any other good 2.1 speakers set which is less than $150?

for gaming ah? get headphones lar. more condusive.

Altec Lansing & Logitech make very impressive speakers. Their series can easily beat any Sonic Gear systems out there.

For budget wise, you can go for VS2521 @ about $89 > http://www.alteclansing.com/vs2521-pc-computer-speakers.html
or
Logitech Z323 @ about $89 > http://www.logitech.com/en-us/speakers-audio/home-pc-speakers/devices/5862

For mid range, you can go for FX3021 @ about $149 > http://www.tomsguide.com/us/college-laptop-guide,review-1381-7.html
or
Logitech Z523 @ about $159 > http://www.logitech.com/en-us/speakers-audio/home-pc-speakers/devices/5861

Thanks for the recommendations bro! The Altec Lansing FX3021 and the Logitech Z523 seems pretty good! I am leaning towards these 2 now.. The FX3021 is smaller and more compact than the Logitech. Sound quality wise, both are about the same right?

Bro I heard Klipsch speakers are quite ex. How much is the Klipsch Promedia 2.1?

Seriously, I cannot remember. I think should be $249 when I bought it years ago. But then it seems quite durable and made of solid wood for the subwoofer and good quality plastic and metal for the front speakers. The tweeter, mid range and bass is just well balanced and solid. Beat my dad's karaoke setup.

I agree with Novjoe.

I using Altec Lansing mx5021 w/o no regret... Is slightly abve the budget (S$230), is good for gaming and music.

TS, u may consider Creative Gigawork T40 series 1 (S$149), is a 2.0 series.

Ya I heard of the aego m, seems like that is the most recommended high end speakers. But sadly its out of my budget.. Plus I dun have a dedicated soundcard so dun think can bring out the full potential of this speakers also right?
