Very much appreciated those comments and critique. Will take note of them and look into redoing the picture. You had make the kit lens stand proud and I like this 2!
I wish that for #1 to be cropped into 2:1 pano leaving out 1/3 of the bottom part; jetty and person in the frame. And a little touch up by cloning off the crops at left would be nice.
As #2, lowering down your camera by a little to include a little more information on the jetty edge at bottom right.
One does not need a premium lens to get wonderful image, the person behind the viewfinder matter most and knowledge of composition and camera setting are the vital point. Premium lens is only a tool.
Thanks Bryan!I like this one bro Nice!
Thanks Bryan!
Looks like this might be another frequent little spot for us. Think we each have to carry a mat so can either sit down or lay prone on the ground! Squatting down like that may be bad for the knees after awhile. Might even turn into a sunrise breakfast with a view, what say you all?
eh but I thought Ding's #7 is good as it is la with the hazy horizon and all..very calm and moody..myabe just a bit of sharpening will do I think
Yeah bro, Alvin was saying he cannot tahan becos of prolonged squatting due to age.. lol.. bad for blood flow man.. btw.. i have 2 picnic maps in my car man... next time i will bring.. den we take turns to "prone"

This type of 'pattern' cannot endure for long.
Next outing when we go to similar kind of location, I'll wear my No.4 so can prone :bsmilie:
Makan (picnic) at the shooting location sounds fun, but might be logistical nightmare. Already so much gear, no free hands for food and drink.
