haha thankfully no.
That cat has depth perception problems.
Can attempt to jump up table or bed from directly underneath and miss.
When it misses it gets embarrassed and bites the table or bed or whatever in anger as if its the bed's or table's fault lol
Also got times when it ran and then managed to bonk its head loudly on the coffee table.
It'll lie on the floor stunned for a moment before it goes running again.
Not five minutes later you'll hear another Bonk! sound come from whichever place its at.

ask you, if the place is not large, if you smother it with 20 photographers, then how?

say, lower peirce, if have 10 photographers scrambling around the rocks, i guarantee you only one guy will get a passable shot, and that is the one without any other photographers in his picture, and if all use UWA there will only be one guy getting a passable shot.

or you have to take turns. sad to say, you won't know which moment has the best light, i cannot say that i am kind enough to sit back and take turns and not feel anything if the best light happens when it is the other guy's turn.

i think 5 for a large area is the maximum to make sure that you don't get in each other's way.

unless you all want to stand far far back around the same area and provide slightly different angles of the same thing... which is what happens a lot nowadays.

one of my friends complained to me that it wasn't bad enough that travel/landscapes was smothered with singapore photos, but it got worse with all these group outings, because he would click on the thread, and end up seeing 8000 pictures that looked like different wb used, but 100% same composition, taken at the same time.

it is like taking a model, mass photoshoot versus one-on-one proper collaboration, which do you think is better? your subject is the landscape, over-crowding your subject is not going to give you good results overall.

and on another note, it is my feeling (and i don't stand alone in this) that too much emphasis is being placed on techniques, technicalities, equipment.

granted, technique, technical knowledge is important, as is equipment. but all these don't matter a single bit if you end up with a bunch of parrots who just "parrot" your composition. the question is, what do you want to teach? how do you want to teach? do you want people to just blindly follow, and left on their own they will not understand or flounder and just stare blankly at you, asking you "what to do next?" "how?"

and then there are those who can tell that "lens very sharp" from a 800 pixel photo........ i don't know what to say about that.

For serious works, i prefer alone or the most 2 person.

But there are always people love to organise outing, some wanted just to share knowlegde, most love to act like big brother.

For exposer group, there are no big brother or big sister, there are only friends with or without photography.

And i'm very blessed that i found a few good friends here.

For those want to join us, join us only if you want to be friends.
