Dear all CSers,

If there was someone who would conduct a low cost 6hr lesson on teaching how to create better pictures (excluding studio and flash photography), what would you like to learn?;)

Well, I would imagine that once someone gets fairly conversant with the DSLR, he/she would probably look into getting some advice on the image making process e.g. controlling exposure, reading light, composing, realising an intention with the photograph, etc. Would be great if some photographic examples of what's being taught can been shown..

I would learn how to take architecture photos like Kit, landscape photos like night86mare, minimalist like soulFLY, events like Willy Foo, wedding like ... (okay too many wedding photographers out there).

If someone can teach me all that in 6 hours, would be good :embrass:

For me?

Better composition, and understand basics of fine arts ... me from a purely numerical/computers background.

For me, learn the how the different lens filters work, which one is suitable for which... why mirror-lock. B&W photography... how to critic, what to lookout for in IQ... using the different reflectors, flash photography. would be good if the teacher can rent dslr + other eq for the lesson too.

for me? the sacred lost art of darkroom tech

My biggest problem is composition, don't have the 'eye' for photography, can this be taught?

No... but can do transplant :bsmilie:

Definitely! When our eyes see good pictures, and we become consciously critical of our shots, we can create wonders with our cameras.

Critical and constructive critic is essential too. :-}

Its Hardwork!

I would wana improve on composition/intention for a photo...and also discuss on some great photos on the condition it was taken/pg's intention for the photo etc. somehow more on listening to their ideas when they wana capture a shot...

How to make a million dollars in 6 hours?

"Madara, I want my brother's eyes"

and then pulls out the eternal mangekyou sharingan. i thought transplanted already?

and i wanan learn the art of shooting blind.

i think the honest answer, on behalf of majority of clubsnappers, is how to shoot xmm the way they like, so that can shoot more xmm for free, have more xmm smiling at them......

behind the scene nia... while naruto is learning 9tails.
I think learning how to use manual focus as fast as AF would be a good gain too. And i wonder how Sports/News photojournalist do it in the days of pure manual slr days.

Hahahah! Best if can from the level of shooting XMM till it becomes artistic n***. :bsmilie:

Advance usage of the camera such as reading histogram or bracketing for HDR, basic post-processing including HDR and stitching of photograph to create a panorama and most importantly the art in photography.
