Alot of ppl are screaming about how they rate the Nikkor 24-120 so high when everyone hates it

That's the important part: to read the fine print and to understand what exactly has been measured / compared / ranked. The outcome of the DxO mark is not to come to sales phrases like "cam x beats cam y" but rather to understand component specifics - and also to reveal where marketing is exaggerating.

Market are always exaggerating. but i didn't know the RAW results of previous models may beat current models..

can you afford D3x ? i am using nikon. sigh.

the canon 5dmk2 + 85mm 1.8 only cost 3k plus, they rank very high in dxomark.

my friend told me 85mm 1.8 not sharp, anyone can confirm ?

i feel that the ranking is bias towards camera with more pixels.

Buy a Sony A850. Same sensor, just slightly different AA filter.

We can confirm that this statement is a) very generalizing and not helpful; and b) based on subjective experiences of your friend where we have c) no idea about the situation where he used the lens and the camera he used and d) whether it really is a lens error (front/back focusing - did he test it?) or just 'user error'. Personally, I tend to suspect 'd' when I read such lines.
There are many reviews online. Read them, rent the lens, form your own opinion.
