Photographers needed for Velocity Urban Attack

Hi,

I would need 2 photographers for a full day job (10am - 7pm) at Velocity on Saturday, 26th June 2010.

Job description: take photos of Prize presentation, competitiors on the course, action photos, photos of spectators.

I would need 2 photographers, pay is $200 in cash vouchers from Velocity.

You are also eligible for a photo contest (prize: $100) if you upload your photos onto the Velocity Urban Attack Facebook page.

Just do the job for that cheapo comapny. Those super nice pics you keep for ur own as portfolio.
Normal candid cin cai as long correct exposure those kind of photo hand over to them.

Guys.. it can be worse. It is probably not $200 in vouchers each but TOTAL. so $100 vouchers a piece.

Cheapo *******s can still ask to look at portfolio.

Look at photos of their event. No surprise why the pictures in their photo gallery suck eggs.

Must be a totally unprofessional company.

That's why this opportunity is perhaps ideal for students/hobbyist who just wanna go there to shoot for the fun of it. With this kind of payment or rather token of appreciation; surely they would not expect much -- just go there and shoot what you like and give them the images of your choice at the end of the day.

Dude it is probably $200 for both. That is $11 per hour. In vouchers too... And probably have to buy your own lunch, pay for your own drinks and provide your own transportation. And since the work is commissioned, they own all the rights to the pictures.

As long as payment is accepted (in cash or in kind), it is considered commissioned work. And the rights of the photos automatically goes to them. Unless you get them to sign an agreement to let you retain rights to the pictures. You think they will sign? :nono:
