Do you bother to correct the white balance before/after you shoot ?

I always set my WB at daylight before shooting, most of the time it is not far off. I will check and make changes if required during PP.

Set once per shoot event. When move place, then set again.
Unless it is outdoor if weather change dramatically (sunny to cloudy).

But when download and look like WB is off, then I will correct at RAW.

Standard lighting just correct in camera, i.e. sports / classical concerts / stage events etc. if not just use AWB and correct in RAW.

80% is AWB.. only when sunny then try other preset... if photo WB off.. use CS5 to correct it

Yeah. Always check White Balance without fail.

And always come back empty handed.

Because by the time I check White Balance birds already fly, cats already run away, XMM already walks away, sun already disappears behind clouds, security guard already appears etc. :bsmilie:

Yes... that is what happened most of the time. and a slight change of cloud formation will throw off my WB... have to reset again. damm....

Most of the time i set AWB when shooting, and i will correct the WB with RAW during post processing.
