ep1 connection question...

need help here... my ep1 turn on automatically when i plug to connect to computer...
i can't turn it off with power button... but if usb cable's unplugged, it turn off by itself...
if cable not connect to computer, then i plug to camera, it don't turn on...
is it normal...:dunno:

I don't get your question,you plug in to your computer to transfer photos right? Nothing wrong as far as I can see, as long as your camera is working, its should be ok

Yup, normal (you have to tell the computer first you want to disconnect the hardware, and then unplug the cable when the computer says it's ok).

but if usb cable's unplugged, it turn off by itself...

Because it's no longer receiving the signal from the computer, the camera will turn off when it desires (or it's programmed to).

When you plug the cable into the camera but the other end is not plugged in, the camera won't turn on because there's no signal to tell the camera the computer is attached. When you plug the other end into the computer the camera should turn on.


To be honest, you are worrying about stuff that there's no need to worry about...the camera is doing what it's supposed to be doing. Instead you should be concentrating on the photography part!
