Hello everyone,

I would like to seek some opinions/comments on the Oakley Radar Path sunglasses.

Would internal surface gets fogged up when one sweats?

TIA for all opinions/comments.

:)

may fog up a little depending on how much heat are trapped lor. maybe you can get the Asian Fit model. it may help in the ventilation...

eh bro... you standby this sunglass for F1 ah?

I have 2 of these.... one normal edition, the other custom edition. I have a board face, suits me well.

All of them fog despite what they claimed. But it make a difference on how fast they evaporate based on design. IMO those with air flow tunnels or openings clear faster.

I have a board face, suits me well.
Diver + Board = Face :bsmilie:

Bro, you have a custom edition. They are more expensive. Have you heard of the custom version with part number OCP-RR-608? (matt black frame, Positive Red Iridium lens with red ear socks)

Its such a coincidence that you are eyeing the same pair as me :)
I need prescription though, and they claim that the Red Iridium cannot have prescriptions.

If you need it to ventilate, you will have to get the ''vented'' lens. These are the ones with shaved off gaps at the top.

i have the OO Polarised Whisker and it's a sad thing that they don't have the Fire Iridium lens for it. i have always wanted to have that lens. the Fire Iridium lens looks too cool...

Benji77, the OCP-RR-608 is expensive. $445. Just like the Radar Path Livestrong edition, which comes with Black Iridium.

Red Iridium transmits 15% of light, while Black Iridium transmits only 10% of light. (from Oakley's website)

A colleague of mine have a good friend living in USA. Since Oakely doesn't sent overseas... I sent my colleague the design/model I wanted & the payment he asked for, he sent to the friend in US.... when Oakely sent his friend the sunglass... he mail it to S'pore. Took 4-5mths (due to shortage of parts on Oakely side) and cost me an extra $100 for everything else. Total cost for my custom Radar... $375 SGD, still cheaper than buying in S'pore :bsmilie:

Polarised Whisker? Wow! It must be expensive. A normal Whisker is about $350 now.

Thanks for the heads up, I never knew there was a difference in light transmission:)
The problem with my order of the lens is that they claim if I go for a prescription, I cannot have 2 lens (Red Iridium + Black Iridium) + Red ear socks + red Oakeley Icon. I would have to pay adidtional S$195 for the socks, Icon & spare red Iridium.

But, I cant use the Red Iridium! (Because I need the prescriptions)
I wan the red socks & red icon. but having to pay extra for it is nuts. I am after all ordering a Custom Oakley, so I really dont know why I cant order this setup. (I paid deposit, but now they claim such)

Bro, have you managed to sort out the problem of yours?

I have that lens for the M-frame and I like it so well.

TS: The fogging thing from building to outside or even from sweating sometime takes too long to clear, but it's not horrible. I don't know about those you asked, but only the M-Frame, which fits very close.
