Canon 580EX II @ DD electronic

anyone bought anything from them before ?
saw them selling the flash unit @ $678, cheapest i seen so far.
wonder if it is possible to go down their office and buy straight away,
i also notice a "Discount for cash" below the price.

About $650 Cash Price I think. Thats wat my fren bought it from.

Unless I am much mistaken the rpices quoted on DD Electronics site are in US dollars, not Singapore dollars ( it's in the small print somewhere that they only accept payment in AUS$ or US$ ) . I nearly got caught out by that when looking at their Canon 70-300 IS USM lens at just under 900 dollars.

Click on the Local website link and all are in SGD, with GST factored in already. i called them to ask. Their webpage is inconsistent. Sometimes say GST included, sometimes not.

that means a grey set... @ some of the road shows there is a PWP deal for 580EXII together with 50D.. only selling @ $599 which is similar to back then's Harvey Norman deal...
