Zoom lock not working

My zoom lock for my Sigma was not working recently. Even when it was locked, when i pointed the lens down, the lens "broke" through the lock.

yep... I wouldn't be surprised, many of the Sigma superzooms still have lens creep even with their lock.

What do you want us to do... buy you a new one?? I guess that's what happens when you either keeping dropping your equipment or knocking them into something.

If it bothers you, can't you bring it in for repairs? Else I'll just ignore it, not a big problem.

Ok.... and your point is...? Bring it to sigma for servicing lah.

My sigma 18-200 still locks in place .

If im not wrong its only a small piece of polycarbonate plastic thats is used to "lock" the lens barrel so it could easily crack off.
Try shaking your lens see if got anything inside:bsmilie:
