Is photography a destination or a journey?

Of course a journey, there is no end right? How to define an ending for photography?

there will be no destination.

like life, it is a marathon. far too many people take it as a race, where it can be won and conquered in a matter of days.

Originally is a destination.... to shoot better than every single gurus here.

Then those gurus keep raising the standard and making the distance bigger.... So, now it's an eternal journey.

But we don't live forever

that doesn't mean that you shouldn't embark on a journey. ;)
Yes, we should. But the journey will end some day, unless someone carry on for you in what you've been doing & passing it on & on & on . . . . . . . . & eventually it'll still reach a destination when no one can do it no more ;)

Photography is a journey, where beautiful pictures would be the destination. Upon reaching one destination, you embark on another journey ... forever searching and keeping and accumulating such a destination!

It's an eternal journey to me. A journey where I'll learn and discover more about photography. The photos which are taken during the journey, will be the memories of this never ending yet memorable ongoing experience. :)

Side note: I do hope CS KpT can make me grow fatter from my current size frame :D.

It is neither. A photographer is never satisfied with his photos nor does he knows what's coming for sure tomorrow. He's only concerned about the opportunity in front of him right now. It is the experience.
