Modern Times, (Apartment building)

Saw this from the lift area while I was waiting for a friend to come out of his apartment. Snapped this with my handphone and stitched it together later on the computer. This is more of a concept, as I was not there with any real equipment besides cell phone, also the picture has not been corrected for distortion, but I think it adds character to the image. Comments? I might go there with tripod and some equipment if it gets good feedback.

NOTES:
I wanted to emphasize the people in the pool more, to create a sense of scale. I think I havent achieved it here. Also, its a bit off center and I would have included more in the panorama's lower portion.

Why don't you go back there, try your best then come back again for comments.....

i think i know what u are trying to do.
nice use of lines to lead the eyes to the pool.
but the pool should more interesting than what you have here.
yes i agree that u should go back and try again.
good luck.

I feel your foreground lines more interesting than background...maybe if you are getting another shots with proper equipment, can try to segment the pool, the red hut and the tall condo/builing in each square to make it more interresting? dunno if it works..but no harm trying since now it looks like peeping thru a slid with not much interesting object through it...:dunno:

Fotophilic:
Thanks. Yeah, I was trying to get a feeling of verticals in the shot....but can't really see the figure in the pool from this small size. Perhaps I`ll go back with a digital camera.

ovaltinemilo:
Hmm yeah, i suppose i can segment the pool and the blocks. Thanks.

Eworms:
Yeah, not much meaning in the shot in terms of theme or content. I was simply trying to have a nice vertical panorama, thought it will be interesting. Maybe I`ll go back, maybe not. :)

is a very unique graphic composition. Not every one can capture such point of view.

maybe you would want to try a different place to show the pool more? But im sure you took some time to get the stitch up...

just an idea, you could put the HDB/CONDO (paint an element green in photoshop) in the background in top square, Pool club House (red) in second square and Pool (blue) in 3rd square if you could get the right angle..
Then you would have RGB seperated elements in a photoframe!! Not sure if it would work as im not really a good photographer ;)

zk-diq:
Thanks!

operationcg:
Hm, not really sure what you are saying but it will be difficult to seperate the 3 elements due to the fixed vantage point.

Yeah perhaps if i go back with a DSLR i could emphasize the pool more....the small resolution of the image doesn't really emphasize the figure in the pool.
