Im using a nikon D700 and came across this lens and read the review at http://www.kenrockwell.com/nikon/1835.htm,
anyone care to share their point of view?

Is it very hard to find this lens in the 2nd hand market?

i know we cant really compare to the famous 17-35mm f/2.8. then there s the new Nikon 16-35mm f/4 AF-S...

Like the lens range between 16,17,18 to 35mm, is good for indoor and portrait too...

- Why not read more reviews than just KRW?
- Why not try a search on the buy and sell section?

Ex-user here, distortion/corner falloffs at the widest end put me off, nonetheless its still a shrap lens of a lower built quality..

Not really, as a matter of fact, i saw one in the BnS section recently..

Have u tried getting new? Saw one copy at CP Marina last sunday

thanks for the sharing... and btw i did search in B&S... well, sometimes its better to hear from user and their experience. And all the "why nots" are not helping too..

Newbies r here, to learn from the experts and also here from what they can share...

Get the 16-35/4. You will not regret it.
