JustSnap Outing Number 2 - Let`s go to Punggol!

from the success of the first outing, http://www.clubsnap.com/forums/showthread.php?t=687136 let`s go for another.

Thus far, i myself havent gone there so going through the pics i feel inspired to go.

Tentatively set this saturday 8-May-2010 maybe from 1pm onwards. everyone be they newcomers or lao jiao are welcome.

Plan is to go there, visit some locations while daylight and then split up to get the sunset in the various areas. We then go somewhere to talk rooster for a while and then go home. I myself am bringing a telephoto just in case got opportunity to photograph birds and etc if any show up..

**The reason is that from what i heard, major development is already underway so its really last call imo before the old things make way for the new.

Also since in the vicinity, planning to visit Lorong Buangkok to photograph the last kampung in mainland singapore in the morning...and then from there head to Punggol.
definitely need to bring lots of batteries and memory cards for this one.

I am flexible with the timing. Are you guys okay if 1pm timing? will confirm by wednesday night.

havent been there before so dont know just how much time needed. My thinking is at 3+ shouldnt be too hot for a group photo outing and just in case most of the landmarks is already developed/fenced off its only a few hours till sunset.

plan is proceed to the photo outing rendezvous at Punggol MRT/LRT. From there we will move to Damai LRT as heard there is possibility of Lalang. If the dogs are active and our group small, will skip Matilda House. we will then go in a anti clock wise direction and eventually end up at Punggol Jetty.

edit. due to sudden work commitment, sunday is out for me. can only be on this saturday. sorry if cause any difficulty.

my plan is at 0900hr take bus 70 from Yio Chu Kang MRT and then alight at Church of St Vincent Des Paul and then take the direct route to the kampung.

Was there with my friend last month. The Punggol Beach is under renovation now. and the whole lalang field has been fence off. You guys might be disappointed with the sight.
Punggol Beach date of completion is Q1/Q2 2011
