Army Gears for Camera Equipments

Hi, a though came into my mind about using army gears to put and carry my camera equipments. I saw a good example from movie Hurt Locker, on this file sling. I can mob it to carry my camera along.

Not sure about the tensile strength of the bungee sling, as camera + lens is a lot heavier than a pistol.

The vest pocket might be too narrow and deep to put camera stuff, it design more for maganize. It look very warm to wear in Singapore.

I'll stick with my DIY 'Black Rapid'..... my neck need a break from sling around the neck.... :sweat:

u wanna modify your lens cap? pull a ring to remove the lens cap and u see smoke coming out... or u wan the one that will explode when u throw it?

The bungee sling can carry the weight of a rifle. Maybe the camera + lens weight must be same weight as the rifle. I owned the Black Rapid Double Straps and using it to carry two cameras when shooting events. The securities were looking at me like I was carrying two weapons. Maybe is the way I hold the cameras. :think::sweat:

BTW, I armed my walkie talkie onto the straps. Use your imagination.

The vest is an example. I believe if dig further, maybe can find a suitable item.

Pull the ring to remove the lens cap is a good suggestion. I can glue a piece of plastic onto the lens cap with a string tied to it. The other end of rhe string tied onto the lens body so that it won't lost.

i would recommend US army gear , but those made in USA still. quality is normally there , matrials are wither balistic or 100D nylon which is the strongest avaliable to public. normally they will come with lifetime-limited warrenty. if broken while in use, they will most likely cover the warrenty and they probably want to know how you broke it hahah.

no spring no talk lah... should have a mechanism to remove the lens cap that gives u the tactile feel of actually wanting to throw it as far away as possible.

You like this??? Lol, I sew a few sets before for my friends. I think I got one more set in my storeroom. Younger days still can wear to field, if now I go field wearing this, confirm heat stroke and die.

Animal and birds not that smart, just use a light weight mobile hide can already, but still super siaz when hiding inside it......sweat like hell.
