i stay in GZ for abt 2 yr b4, depend on wat you guys like to eat, there is a lot of good food in GZ.
base on my experience, 7 out of 10 restaurant is good, so just walk into any restaurant u interested, even some small restaurant is good.
as for clubbing, the clubs there is not as good as sg.
most of it the dance floor is very small, and most people play dice... not as happening as sg clubs

I'll be there 6 days in GZ and staying at Li Du hotel at Beijing Rd, Yuexiu District. What restaurants are good there? My friends are more keen on dim sum(s) but also open to other nice cuisines

In TianHe guang chang ( TianHe square) you can see a Bing Guan that serve excellent Dim Sum, about the best I know even compared to HK.

It is a Bing Guang that used to serve only the Army personnel.

I visit GuangZou very very often. But sorry, not this time.


One more thing to note about the Guang Zhou Train Station:
This place is notorious for crime. I would avoid the place if possible. The most daring criminals would assemble in GuanZhou.
Not to be a racist, be very careful about those from Xin Jiang.

For clubbing wise, i not into it so i cant give any suggestion.

I like a few places for mankan but some i forgot the street names......:sweat:

go look for this restaurant "Bing Sheng" which have a few outlets. My chinese friend brought me there to eat. Nice and it's affordable. The one i went is near 海珠桥.

If u like spicy food, u can try the 小红牛 but i forgot the street names. It's steamboat, more on beef stuff.

If u looking for those camera shop (4 story building). The place i went is 大沙头二马路, which is near 江弯桥南 as that area alot of those electronic stuff. U can look for this store http://www.youreye.cn/ and it my friends, Wang Hui is the guy to look for

This building can find lot of fun stuff if u love film or LF!!!

Hey, u remember what is that street name again which is famous for "redlights" district which not really that redlight..... which has a good restaurants there. I forgot what it call, something like what something 北路.

As for Guang Zhou Train Station, (Not the one going to HK). I been there lot of time (Pass by) as i went 站西 quite often as there is the place whole u can find those whole sales clothing etc.... and shoes.... And many Singaporean head there for stocks

It much better compare to the olden days but still dont take for granted. Xin Jiang people are nice but somehow need to be careful. Just be street smart abit lor. Everywhere the same to me.

Near the computer city is a famous upmarket 川国演义 hot pot. Only the rich go there (their standard). It is very enjoyable and service is great. Why not go there instead. 川国演义广州天河店‎ - near Westin, metro line 3 San Xian.

I have seen enough day light robberies. Not being a kiasi but I would avoid certain places and certain people. Guang Zhou is about the most complicated place in China. I rate it worse than Shenzen. The Gong An would not give a dame unless someone is seriously injured.

lol, i am in SG liao. "backpacked" china one year plus and GZ was the city i stay the longest.

江弯桥南 is the place i stay.

Ya, the river side there got lot of sea food and it a place worth going if u love sea food which they have some stuff that sg dont have.
