100000 shutter release life-span and i think you would have sold off or upgraded before it reached that figure...

Before I jumped into DSLR, all I talked about was shutter count and its life span. But amazingly, I have not bothered about it since getting one. Because once you have it, you are more interested in taking photos and getting limited lenses. If it fails, it fails but so far have not come across any Pentaxian who needed to change the shutter assembly yet after so many years. maybe because they keep on upgrading to newer ones :bsmilie:
My advise is just buy the camera, don't bother about the cents because the 4 places offer fairly good deals. I think SLR Revo and Manly is the favorite at the moment but you will need to check it out yourself. :)

ok. thanks for your help. guess i'll check out SLR Revo and Manly this weekend. :)

OP for me, you can also try CS B&S. Anyway whats the worry for shutter count? What are you shooting to fear shutter lag? I know OP allows people to hands on for feel but don't let people try shooting unless the person is seriously buying on the spot. Never been to slr revolution, so cannot suggest on that.

Anyway, please do a bit of search. I don't really know why, but I hate people being spoon fed when there are google and a search in CS up there. At least I hope the next question isn't something like how much is the camera (there is a pricelist in the forum) or compare between different DSLR as there are alot of thread about it here.
