(Just my guess and interpretation of this photo)
I think the gypsy lady was crying because she was forced to in Nazi Germany, to give the Heil Hitler salute. She was crying because the Gypsies and the Jews must have been persecuted at that time and her family members may already have been taken away to concentration camps. If she did not give the hand salute , she may have been killed on the spot.

That is why you also see others in the photo smiling, they are probably native Germans.

Luckily, I only hang out in kopitiam. That way, I can be nasty to only one goat with a Pentax who has helped me a lot in learning about photography :heart::bheart::heart::bheart:

Okay okay.. the Pentax thingie has gone on too long liao. Becoming as stale as me kena nagged for keeping my horizons and my verticals straight. Hahaha. Until the point Pentax has almost become synonymous with him also. Sorry, goat.

I suspect most of the keyboard heroes online do not preach heroism and behave like one out of cyberlife.
