I see 2 specs of dust in my viewfinder which I cannot get rid of. I do not see the dust after taking pictures with the aperture wide open (F2.8) of a white wall.
Check and cleaned both ends of the lens and check plus used an air blower on the camera CCD but the dust is still visible in the viewfinder. Any way to get rid of it?
Appreciate inputs on this.
Thanks.
Dust also white, take pic of white wall no use. Should use large f no. with ur lens on to get high shutter speed, take a pic with lens cap on and shake ur cam abit. If the dust is really on the sensor it would appear.

Dust in lens doesnt affect the image, should be sensor
But when i change to other len,the black dot so so much..dust really doesn't affect image.
i locked up the mirror and look in side the CCD,looks clean...
Meggi,
Think its on your sensor. Its hard to see the dust specs visually without a loupe or some magnifying glass. You could try using a lens as a magnifying glass if you have one that is suitable. Which DSLR are you using?.
