Any people know where to find info for D300s 's shutter count life? Cos my shutter count is abt 7k. So is it time to go reset?? :dunno:
7k when you first got your camera? There are some utilities online which can check on the shutter count, although at 150k it will be a while before you will use the camera up well.

I am still on the learning stage. so most of it are like test shoot. Then also ask where got shoot just go, like wedding ,event. dinner. etc. ( i am not the main la.... )

Thanks bro, enjoying the new features of d300s, but i still comparing with my previous d90 images. i feel like the d300s have more blacks and higher contrast on jpeg. can we compare our output photo one time?

you can also upload your latest image at Flickr and you can see the shutter count from properties.

Any experience on the performance of d300s using rechargeable AA Batteries on MB-D10? Im planning to buy eneloop instead of en-el4a.
May i ask why the rechargeable batteries? More FPS? or More shots? Interms of weight, which is heavier?

as i read the d300s manual, when rechargeable battery is used in mb-d10 connected to d300s, it will reach up to 7.5fps continuous shooting @CH mode.

Yeah I wasn't talking about the thing that you are referring too ^^;
However I do read in the Magic Lantern guide book for the D300s that each cameras are 'broken in', with the shutter unit being cycled 500 times. It's on page 16 of the very same book.

It was written as "Shutter units being broken in on the camera production line at Nikon (Thailand); each shutter unit is cycled 500 times."
My guess that each of our cameras are tested for the shutters. I think this is rather normal?
Hi, so sorry for the wrong info. Shutter life is indeed 150,000 but performance reduce at 50,000.
