Anyone with this new bag?

Airport-Ultralight-V25-5.jpg

- It is relatively cheap at $169
- Complies with airline carry on
- weighs between 1.1-1.6kg

I'm planning to stuff this with a 500/4L IS + a other nick knacks.

Also where to buy in Sing?

Where can you get it at SGD169?

You can try TK Foto or Orient Photo!

Just bought this bag from Orient Photo. Best damn bag I ever bought. Ultralight, great for airline cabin carry-on, offers enough protection for it's intended purpose. I can put the following in there:

- 2 x 5dmk2 with grip
- 2 x 580exII
- Sigma 12-24
- Canon 35L,50L,85L,100f2,
- Canon ST-E2
- Wireless Triggers
- Lens Hoods for Ls
- ........i still have space.

169 US??
TK Foto, John 3:16, OP all carries them.. Never see this model at CP before..

The one on TK Photo web site is V2.0, is TS talking about V2.0 or there is a newer version 2.5..

The new version is V2.5.

For a moment I thought the price went down or a store selling cheap... so it's US169....

doesnt seem to have much padding......just pray for a less turbulence flight because unless its packed tight, expect a whole lot of shaking going on that bag. I suspect if shake hard enough, could affect the gears inside.

I use this bag with a 200/2L IS or 300/2.8L IS with body attached and the hood on. It also accomodates GT5561T monopod well. :)

my question is, are you going to use that to carry your gear around after that?

i can see how it will be useful for say, people who are moving to another country, or studying or working overseas for extended periods of time, i.e. long periods of dwelling. so this may serve as a "moving house" tool to keep your gear safe onboard with maximum space available in a compact form.

alternatively, location photographers who have been told to do an assignment overseas. e.g. wedding photographers who have to shoot a couple overseas.

for people on holiday, firstly, don't think you really need that much gear...... secondly, stuff more bags into hand carry is possible, but won't you want to bring all your gear out, if not bring for what??? :bsmilie:
