im looking for a film slr.
not sure what model and hoped someone could help me.
looking for one with the following features:

-lightmeter with auto exposure (like LC-A), everytime i manually expose always overexpose or underexpose.
-can set iso dial (so can double expose and stuff)
*can choose aperture is also good

ya. so if possible, tell me the model and stuff.
thanks so much!
hope i can buy a slr soon! :D

are you looking for those MF SLR's or AF?...

for MF, Canon AE-1P & F1 or Nikon FM2N & FM3A are quite popular & nice...

for AF, Canon EOS 1V or Nikon F6 are the top of the line during their era, & you can use the latest lenses (from their respective mounts) on these SLRs...

TS is looking from film SLR. He probably doesn't know what is the difference between a rangefinder and SLR. Leica R3 R5 are rangefinders, not SLRs.

Btw there's a proper Buy and Sell in this forum.

Great cameras and good deal.

They are actually SLRs.

I will recommend Nikon EM, cute, aperture priority and has everything you asked for:thumbsup:
However there will be no Depth of Field preview button and manual exposure is take away from you.

My bad, thanks for correcting. Somehow the mind was on the M-series. :embrass:

Other than the Nikon EM, the FE is also a good budget SLR, with DOF preview, multi-exposure, and full manual control in addition to aperture priority.

Why don't you post a WTB ad in BnS? People here can recommend you stuff, but you have to find the stuff too, since film slrs are no longer selling new.
