tried to change to different mode but the AF is still not working. the image taken appear blur.
is it my camera that is faulty?

I think what you are trying to shoot is something shorter than your lens minimal focusing distance. Hence it is unable to achieve focus and therefore the blinking confirmation light. Try moving back abit.
its the same leh. the AF doesnt seems to work. in some other modes there will be short burst of flash but the camera doesnt capture. :angry:
If it can't AF even in bright daylight, and you've verified no switches are set to "Manual Focus", then best to let CSC check it out.
Or clean out lens contact points first too.
Check the AF switch on your lens...
Borrow a working lens and see if ur body can focus or not.
Bring back to the shop & test out their other lenses & their 1000Dyep its set to AF on the lens & i have reinstall the lens already.
