SB-600 flash

had bought a SB -600 flash for my D5000.. there is power on the flash but when i try to shoot.. no flash coming out at all..can any expert solve it?:embrass:

What are the indication showing in the shooting mode indicator and flash mode indicator showing on the information display when SB600 flash is mounted on camera and switched on?

Shooting mode indicator refers to item no. 1 in the illustration on page 8 of D5000 manual.

Flash mode indicator refers to item no. 11 in the illustration on page 8 of D5000 user manual.

i using a Manual and Aperture.. but cannot.. for illustrate 11.. using a normal flash.. but all cannot.. i suspect that the bulb is spoil..

Test fire it by pressing the red button that reads "flash"?
