Singtel Celluar Data Network Down

Had the same issue too, recently seems like Singtel network kind of unstable.
Last week was that cant send email thru yahoo via iPhone.

It was down for bout an hour this afternoon. Realised it only after ppl started calling to check on sent emails.
Anyway, the Singtel customer service is quite horrible and they were obviously unable to cope as i had to call 4 times before the line allowed me to wait for an available officer. First 3 calls jus citied "..we are experiencing an unusual high volume of calls, please try again later...*cut*"... frustrating since you had to press a whole combination of buttons only to be cut-off... Also, customer service officer had no clue what I was talking about and keep putting me on hold.. He's kind of like a robot answering off a sheet of "standard replies" because he was not answering my question.. jus kept reading off the paper... Singtel should seriously review this!

After the huge network outage around 2 months ago, they have been very unstable with their networks. Call hotline, all they can say is "high traffic" over and over again. Don't know why they don't want to upgrade their system to handle more subscribers since they have "high traffic".
Too bad I have 1.5 years more to go, but when the time comes I'll be switching to a more stable provider that doesn't cut my connection off 3 times a day (between toa payoh and clementi).

if you guys think this is bad, wait till you cant get signal in your home and get Malaysian network instead. Called them and wrote email to them. only say signal in my area is weak but they dont intend or have plans to upgrade. Funny thing is after I complain, signal suddenly becomes full strength for a few days and then back to normal again. :angry:
I realised these days, Singtel don't seem to have customer service. They have a number for that, but it does not service the customers.
And the thing is, when i look at the people around me, i'm not the only one who felt this way.

yeap had same issue on N97, the widget disconnects and take very long to load back and keep disconnecting.
singtel user here, my cousin sent me a message a while ago... her message was merged with a message from a potential buyer of a lens i advertised on B & S. all that appeared was my cousin's number... the buyer's number? can't find it there... i tried replying through the sms i received, but it end up being sent to my cousin(GrRr... she's now aware of my photography deals)... what's wrong with singtel? to the person who smsed me earlier about a lens i advertised in B & S, sorry for not being able to reply... your number doesn't appear there, hence i can't sms you back, if you are reading this though... please sms me again... thanks!
From time to time, I will receive a call that was actually meant to be connected to another person and if I kept silent, I could very well eavesdrop on their conversation as a third party till one person disconnect the line.
Singtel said they will look into it but nothing has been done till now and sometime I would wonder if my private calls are also actually being connected to another third party also. ;(

You better update your ad in Clubsnap that you are looking for this potential buyer.......he likely won't be able to see this thread
