Developers:- Possibly returning for a break in October

as usual........i'll need a breather from this crappy place of mine here ......

so I am very likely to return to Singapore in October-November thereabouts....... for a break.....

will like to find out what is the flavour of developers these days......

1) Rodinal/Rodinal Special?
2) Diafine?
3) blah blah blah..

whats the pricing in Singapore? (i'll try to see if its even worth to get it here and bring back....)

I currently use Rodinal and have started using HC-110 Dilution B.

I bought Rodinal from japanexposure.com and HC-110 from Ruby.

Been a few months since I actually was in Ruby, but I think I saw D76, DDX and Microphen, if I'm not mistaken.

From my experience, the only developers worth "importing" are those not sold in Singapore (Rodinal, Diafine, etc.) or powdered developers in large packs (e.g. ID-11 to make 5L).

Most of the stuff that was available still is, which goes to say, very limited choices.

As Celebring identified, the most useful would be Roddie-orgies and Diafine.

am currently monitoring the € to see if its worth getting it here and bring it back for u guys like the previous time.

In anycase, looks like Rodinals and Diafines are the most sought after eh?.

I'm trying to see if they still have crazy developers like technidol/microphen etc....

things that i've not used for godzillions years ago....

A little off-topic, but beside Ruby, where in Singapore can one get chemicals, like developer or fixer, etc?

Haiya, no worries....i will more or less confirm the timings first....

Don't PM me yet hor...I'll put up a list or seperate thread nearer to the date so that can list and consolidate (1st come 1st basis) on the number of bottles to buy.....


Guys, please pray that the € falls when its nearer the time lah.......nowadays its madness here......

BTW, i have this gut feeling that i missed passing 1 bottle of Rodinal to somebody from the previous order, coz it was quite late and maybe i couldn't get past my jetlag previously hehehehe........lemme scroll through the previous thread.....

hey, i figure they can ship rodinal to Sg from japanexposure? but their prices are damn high ar.. haha.. but i guess it may be worth it....
